    The bias CNN is hiding.

    News outlets today tend to be biased in their views but try to hide sed bias; this is the case with the popular news outlet CNN. 

    In a section of "Dam Abrams Live," Mr. Abrams talks about how CNN is riding coherently to cover up their political bias. Abrams states that a great example of this leading bias toward the Left is Brianna Keilar. Showing a clip of an Interview with congressman Mike Turner, Keilar gives an unmannered tone when questioning Mr. Turner. Abrams state," puck reports the Keilar is internally thought to subject only republicans to that type tone and tenor." he then goes on to say that Keilar and other employees of CNN have to "Fake it," implying that they will have to hide their beliefs to keep CNN unbiased in nature.

    This might impact the audience, making more right-sided viewers not want to continue using CNN as they might believe that the news covered might not be trustworthy or more biased towards the left. This makes the credibility of the sources drop tremendously as it does not genuinely cover the other side of a story or, in this case, political views.

    We should understand the credibility of a source and/or the overall truth with no bias, as it brings more open-mindedness when reading a paper or watching news outlets. Knowing when bias occurs dramatically increases the knowledge one might have as a citizen learning about the world and the problems we might have to face.

    I completely agree that biased reporting can deter people from viewing certain news outlets. Your last sentence, which talks about citizens taking initiative when seeing bias, is one of the most important reminders for regular people. The rise of social media has certainly caused a rise of misinformation. This has made it even more essential for people to verify sources and claims, before truly believing something as fact. CNN is one of the biggest media outlets in the world. If bias can take place at such a high level, it is clear bias is present in reporting everywhere.
